This wiki is where you can find tutorials / documentation for projects I have worked on, or other general stuff.
Building an Attitude Heading Reference System
An Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) is an essential part of nearly all aerial vehicles. Its function is to give information regarding the current position, orientation and direction (heading) of the vehicle with respect to its initial position.
What you can find here, is a tutorial of sorts, helping you get started on building an AHRS. The prerequisites for following the tutorial are just basic programming experience and some knowledge of kinematics.
Readers who are already comfortable with all the theory behind the AHRS can skip the introductory portions of the tutorial and directly move on to the other parts.
Programming the ATMega Microcontrollers (coming up soon …)
The ATMega microcontrollers are the most popular ones, in use in labs, student projects etc. today.
For the purposes of this tutorial, the ATMega16 microcontroller is used.
